Chester County IU Education Association

The Chester County Intermediate Unit Education Association (CCIUEA) is the exclusive representative of the education professionals working in the Chester County Intermediate Unit (CCIU). We are located in the Southeast Region of Pennsylvania in Downingtown, PA. CCIUEA is an affiliate with the Pennsylvania State (PSEA) and National Education Associations (NEA). Our members are academic, special education, career and technical education teachers, guidance counselors, psychologists, speech therapists, and school nurses providing services to nearly 86,000 public and non-public school students throughout the county.  CCIUEA advocates for its members and for strong, effective schools. We are committed to providing a quality education for each student in the traditional setting as well as blended & online learning opportunities. CCIUEA represents the collective bargaining rights and the professional development interests of all members. We work closely with the CCIU Board of School Directors, our Executive Director, elected officials, labor union leaders and community partners to advocate for pro-public education policies and practices that benefit society as a whole. When everyone is moving forward with the same goals, it is mutually beneficial. We are extremely appreciative of the support of many, many people and organizations in the Delaware Valley who recognize our desire to educate the whole child and support families with children in CCIU schools.
